April’s Rain – A Fairy Story

Walk through the tall meadow grass and follow April as she goes on a quest to learn how to make it rain.  Along the way she’ll get some very unusual advice from her animal friends.

April’s Rain is a magical story enjoyed by both children and adults.  Written and illustrated by Deb Swingholm, this fairy tale has a genuine simplicity and encourages a love of nature with pages sprinkled with charming watercolor art.

Part of the “Meadow Series”, April’s Rain is set in a field of wildflowers, oak trees and tall grass.  If you are from Northwest Ohio, you might recognize some of the elements as native plants of the Oak Openings Region – Little Bluestem, Blazing Star, Black-eyed Susan and (my favorite) Wild Blue Lupine.
