Meet Flowering Moon

Deb Swingholm – Teacher, Author, Artist and Spiritual Coach

When I was 7 or 8 my Grandpa took me to the book store.  I came home clutching “Black Beauty”.  The descriptions of London and the English countryside captivated my imagination and suddenly I was aware of a bigger world “out there”.  I wanted to travel.

Now, I’ve been fortunate to travel all over the world and for over 16 years I lived in both Asia and the Middle East.  My passion for art, music and spiritual discovery has led me far off the well-marked path. Sacred sites and mystical places call to me.

I love to walk on holy ground – to pray and offer ceremony in those places that have called to pilgrims and poets throughout time.

In places like Thailand, Nepal, Turkey, France, Spain, England and Egypt, I’ve gathered knowledge of ancient spiritual traditions, shamanic practices and participated in local rituals.

I seek out the healers, weavers and storytellers – women who keep the secrets of myth and symbol. In all my work, I honor the Divine Feminine and women’s sacred traditions.

Nature is my guide and everything I do is rooted in a deep connection to the Earth.  I live in harmony with her rhythms and follow the ways of the Medicine Wheel and the Celtic Wheel of the Year. I am a certified Master Teacher of Feng Shui and Space Clearing, I am also a Soul Coach, Reiki Master and gifted intuitive with more than 20 years experience in the field of personal development and transformation.

As a photographer and writer, my work has been published in books and magazines internationally. People sometimes ask me about the name “Flowering Moon”. This is a traditional Native American name given to the moon cycle in May, my birth month. It is also my Spirit Name. When I think of these words, I imagine a flower unfolding.  I feel the energy of new life emerging.  I sense possibility. This vibrant creative energy is what I seek to express in the world though my art and teaching.

I appreciate the Divine that is imminent in each moment. I live with simplicity. I see the beauty and interconnection in all things.  I find wisdom in ordinary things.  I watch for messages from my animal totems and listen closely when Goddess whispers in my ear. I look forward to meeting you!

Until then, may you Walk in Beauty.

Testimonials

Deb is a priestess. Not a new age metaphysical gossamer flowing dress kind of woman. She knows what she knows and is powerful in it.

Even though I am capable of assessing blocks and clearing them for others, I am not capable in doing it the way that Deb has for me (at least definitely not for myself). She has helped me take a step back from living in my human shell and assess the energy and emotional blocks that many of us feel, but can’t articulate. I am sincerely grateful for her wisdom and guidance as I seek balance and pleasure from my daily work rituals and relationships with myself and those around me.
